RATANOID is retro arcade game inspired by classics such as Arkanoid and other games from the brick breaker genre. I reimagined the game and inserted my two pet rats Quara and Queenly into it.
Game available on STEAM. Demoversion available on Itch.
Help them break through 100 cheese filled levels and achieve the highest score possible. To make it easier I made sure to give the player as much agenda as possible. The rats influence the ball direction with every bounce based on where exactly on the wooden log they are carrying the ball bounced.

On top of that the game offers 3 powerups that make the game much easier.
The game is split into 5 themese evenly distributed across the 100 levels which are all hand crafted to provide ascending dificulty, starting at the easiest in level 1 and going to the hardest at level 100.

FAQ
Why does the game costs so much?
No it doesn’t. I worked on this game for nearly a year and it cost me considerable ammount of money and time to develop it and get it published. On top of that the graphics, music and design is made by real humans not an AI and I have to pay these people for their effort (and I have to eat and support my family too). While I would love to release all my games free of charge I simply cannot do that.
All my games are being discounted during each major Steam Sales so consider wishlisting it and picking it up during a sale to save some money, but I am not offering my games free of charge.
Are there any plans for expansions or sequels?
I would love to expand on the idea of Ratanoid with DLC or Sequel but first I need to see if there is even playerbase that would be willing to play my game. Development of any kind of content and games takes time and money and both are scarce commodity for me. Best source of information regarding the projects I am working on right now is my Discord and YouTube.
